SUMMARY This position is responsible for supporting the Quality System including auditing of in-process product per instructions as well as all associated documentation and performing the duties of Receiving, Dock Auditing as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Perform Receiving Inspection and Dock Auditing as needed.
• Complete all necessary documentation including tags and labels per the TS 16949, within expected or given time periods.
• Perform in-process inspection and documentation of product to determine compliance to customer requirements.
• Maintain variable charts per blueprint and/or customer requirements.
• Monitor data received by sub contractors for compliance to specifications as needed.
• Assist in sort operations as needed.
• Immediately report all discrepancies to Supervisor and/or Quality Manager.
• Informally monitor quality system to cell/areas concerning labels, documentation, lot numbers, first piece samples for procedural adherence.
• Performs all other duties as requested by the Quality Manager
• Communicate production and quality issues/concerns with associates and supervision whenever necessary, including shift crossover.
• Participate in team problem solving activities (i.e.: 8D’s, communication meetings, etc).
• Responsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e.: Quality Manual, Associate Handbook, etc.).
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Knowledge of quality systems and standards. Knowledge of inspection techniques and simple measurement instrument usage. Capable of performing Gage R&R and capability studies
