SUMMARY To assist in the warehouse functions required to insure accurate inventories, receipts, and shipments to internal and external customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Verify all the truck wheels are chocked before entering vehicle.
• Loads trucks with finished goods for customers, verifying shipper with product loaded.
• Unloads purchased material, etc. and receives in verifying quantities are correct and then puts stock into proper location in warehouse after verification and inspection.
• Keep warehouse organized and clean.
• Properly maintain housekeeping externally, in dumpster area, sweep and pick up all debris. Pick up debris from storm drain and surrounding area as well. Keep dumpster lid closed at all times .
• Properly maintain housekeeping in shipping dock areas, sweep and pick up all debris, and pick up debris from storm drain and surrounding area as well.
• Ensure that all skids stored outside are properly covered. Skids should not be exposed to water.
• Responsible for seeing that stock is rotated (FIFO – First In First Out).
• Assemble racking when required.
• Assist in cycle counting and auditing inbound and outbound shipments.
• Stage and label correctly all product going out.
• Perform all other duties as requested by the Warehouse Team Leader or Materials Manager.
• Operate a hi-lo upon successful completion of training course and written test.
• Accurately operate shipping and receiving equipment including barcode equipment and UPS machine.
• Communicate production and quality issues/concerns with associates and supervision whenever necessary.
• Participate in team problem solving activities (i.e.: 8D’s, communication meetings, etc).
• Responsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e.: Quality Manual, Associate Handbook, etc.).
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience (Hi-lo driving) and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
